ReEd 2 introduces students to the basics of doing Biblical exegesis in relation with the challenges of the current context of the Philippines and the world.
Theology, guided by an understanding of the nature and purpose of the Sacred Scripture, demands critical hermeneutics that leads not only to information but formation and transformation of the everyday lives of students, within the believing community, the Church.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
1. Demonstrate a proper method to Biblical interpretation and exegesis, guided by Church teachings, as emphasized in Dei Verbum (DV)
2. Employ various kinds of textual, literary and spiritual approaches to exegesis of the Old and New Testament
3. Develop correlations between the Sacred Scripture and the human experience of students in light of the Philippine context and the realities of the global Church today.

Religious Education 3 is the third course of the Theology Program. It introduces learners to the basics of Catholic morality in relation to the vast moral upheavals facing the Philippines and the world of large. The course introduces learners to theological anthropology that seeks to present the fundamental subjective factors of morality as freedom and conscience, in light of the reality of sin. These subjective factors are then understood in light of the objective factors of the commandments in sacred scriptures, and the guidance of church teaching. Ultimately, the course hopes to guide learners in their own personal discernment of moral decision making, discipleship and commitment.

1. Sketch a theological anthropology that presents the subjective factors of morality, in light of freedom, conscience and the reality of sin
2. Relate these subjective factors to the objective factors of morality, namely the Commandments, as found in Sacred Scripture and the development in moral theology in Sacred Tradition.
3. Develop a process of decision- making that hopes to form the learners into committed disciples of Christ in light of contemporary global and local issues in the learner’s human experience.

Religious Education 4 is the final course of the Theology Program. The course brings the Theology Program to a close by presenting students with the challenge of participating in the thrust of the Church's vision of social justice in the world and in the Philippines.
The course introduces students to a systematic study of the Church's social commitment from a theological perspective. The course introduces the students to the pastoral cycle as a method of theologizing, as well as focusing on a social and cultural analysis of the Philippine situation in the light of the Second Plenary Council of the the Philippines and Second Vatican Council. through this Catholic social vision, the students are invited to respond to Philippine problems related to business, science and technology, ecology and gender, politics and governance - in accordance with the students' areas of concern and interest. These efforts are hoped to deepen the students' spirituality of social transformation founded on a faith committed to social justice and liberation in the Philippines and world today.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
1. Articulate the social reality of sin, within the Philippine and world context and history;
2. Relate this picture to the call for social justice within the vision of the Church of the Poor, in the light of the Biblical vision of justice and Catholic Social Teaching; and,
3, Design initiatives that can create ripples of social change through concrete grassroots efforts.
